You have unpacked the last of your moving boxes in your new home. Now it’s time to tackle the decorating. A great way to make your place really feel like home is to add some great wall art and pictures.
Here are 8 steps to a foolproof way to hang pictures and wall décor with ease, limiting the unnecessary holes in your walls. You will need painters tape, a pencil and level.
Check the backside of your frame and see where the brackets are.
Place a strip of painters tape across the back on top of the brackets.
With your pencil, mark a dot on the tape where the nails or screws need to go.
Remove the painters tape from the frame and place it on the wall where you want your pictures to go. Don’t worry, the tape will not damage or mark up your walls.
Use your level to make sure the tape is perfectly straight. Adjust if necessary.
Hammer in your nails in the dots you have marked with your pencil.
If you want to hang two frames next to each other, repeat the steps above and when applying the tape to the wall, make sure the strips are level with each other.
Remove the tape from the wall and then hang up your pictures!
